A Pretty Shower for Baby P

Baby Girl Pittman and I are so loved. We had a beautiful shower hosted by such a great lifelong friend, Zandra, and attended by some very special friends. It was a perfect afternoon of lunch, crafts, yummy cake, and lovely gifts. Thank you so much, Zan, for all the work you put into hosting a shower from so far away! It was perfect. And thank you to everyone who came--it's been awesome finding such great friends here in LV this past year. I felt truly blessed to have each of you there and in my life as we welcome this baby girl.

Since we had some special out of town visitors for the shower we had a fun weekend of yummy meals, shopping, and visiting, too!

Life as a Family of Three

Since my last blog post in April (seriously?), we've been enjoying our last months as our little family of three (plus H&H, of course). Elliott is such a delight. He brings us amazement, pride, and joy every day. We love spending all our time with just him, and at the same time, are also grateful he won't be an only child for much longer.

The end of April brought some visitors. We had a lovely visit, hike, and playtime with the Heitzingers. Thanks, Hans, for such great pictures!

We began May with finally landscaping our backyard. What a treat that has been. We enjoy the yard everyday, even in the summer heat! Thank you to Miles who did SO much work on our yard and really made it possible.

so happy to have a yard!

E was quite the helper!

After all that work we took a vacation! Sunriver was fabulous, as always. It was special to take Elliott to all our favorite spots. Thank you, mom, for making it all possible!

The pictures are in no particular order...but here's a look at our week!

We camped at the Grand Canyon with Jed, Sarah, and Zoey for a weekend. We had such perfect weather and a fun time visiting. Elliott loves his cousin very much!

this is the way to camp...comfy couch and cups of coffee

due to the persistent requests for ginormous belly pictures...

Mother's Day, my birthday, and Father's Day celebrations snuck into our early summer. So did Elliott's first haircut!

*sidenote- I have since given E his second haircut...and totally took off a nice chunk of hair on one side. So, we will definitely be letting someone else handle the third one to make it all even again! Mom Fail! Luckily, he doesn't care!

Recently we had a wonderful 4th of July, and just spend most our time getting ready for this baby and staying cool!
