March of the Visitors

Our March has been eventful with many visitors...and we love it!

First, Cody came to visit on his way to his next adventure. I think we are going to enjoy having him nearby, especially Elliott.

Then my mom came for a fun filled weekend...our favorite restaurant, picnic in the park, girl time-including Cinderella! And, because we had the greatest babysitter, Zack and I went to Cirque du Soleil! Apparently we had so much fun we forgot to take out the camera...

Zack's dad and sister, Dixie, came over during their week long road trip to the Grand Canyon. We played at the park, checked out the Pavehawk, explored the "Petting Zoo" on base, and played some games.

i think he knows how to fly by now...

he could actually turn it...watch out!

Then Tavia, Mike, and Carson came up from Arizona. The boys colored, got a wagon ride, played at the park, and created some beautiful sidewalk chalk murals. The adults all had a great visit and enjoyed some meals and good conversation together.

We ended March with a Rescue Easter Egg Hunt. Elliott actually knew what to do! He had fun putting eggs in his basket, but more fun eating all the candy. Also, the bounce house was a surprisingly fun hit as long as not too many big kids were in it.

Baby Girl

Two years ago before I took part in any St. Patty's Day drinking, I thought I'd see if I was pregnant. What do you know? That day we found out about little Elliott. And look at him now!

Now we are halfway through this pregnancy with our first baby girl. She has not cooperated for any pictures yet. In fact, after 45+ minutes of trying yesterday we still haven't gotten a profile view of her. She likes to sit in weird positions and cover her face with her hands. We'll get to try again soon, but I'm not very hopeful. Elliott definitely didn't like to cooperate for ultrasounds either. Thankfully we get some good pictures of him now!

Here is the only good shot we have of her...at least she's "cool"

We are very excited for our arrival this summer.

Spring Hiking

We are enjoying some beautiful spring weather and taking some fun family hikes. Hope this post finds all of you enjoying some sunshine and fun activities, too.

Now that Elliott is quite the pro at walking he gets to get out of his pack every once in awhile and hike around. He's pretty good on the rough terrain, and he has a blast.

Because Grama loved this blog and was always asking for more posts, this post is dedicated to her. We love and miss you.
