Four Months

Today I am four months old. People always think I'm older, but that's just because I'm extra tall, extra smart, and extra cute. They always mention my super blue eyes--I'm not sure what that means yet, but I tend to bat my super long eyelashes at them and smile. I give out lots of smiles, but I reserve all my good giggles for my daddy. He's my bud.

That picture is from my first visit to the zoo. I actually watched the animals! My favorite was the ocelot. I was the cutest owl at the zoo.

I'm a really good sleeper. My mama thought I'd never sleep through the night, but I learned how! (for the most part). They put me in the closet and always call me Harry Potter.

I haven't learned any magic yet...but I have discovered many things this past month including my feet and how to get them in my mouth, my hands and how to use them to get everything I want -- including my pacifier in my mouth, and I've almost mastered sitting. It's hard work learning something new every single day.

The puppies are my new best friends. Mama bribes them with peanut butter filled Kongs so they stay near me and entertain me. I like to pull on their hair...really hard!

I have some other friends, too. See?

I have some friends my own age at church, but I'm pretty much too cool for babies...

See?

Love,
Elliott

Happy 4 Months, my sweet boy!

Then & Now

We travelled to Arizona last weekend for our dear friends' wedding. What a fun trip we had! The first day we went to the Grand Canyon and stayed in Flagstaff. I thought this would be a fun way to show some pictures. What a difference a couple years makes for our little family.

Then & Now

The Pittmans at the Grand Canyon

The coolest part of our visit to the Grand Canyon this time (besides the cool weather!) was the elk. We were just an arm's length away from a ton of elk!

Then we headed to Phoenix and had a great visit with friends and some family!

Unfortunately, our little man had his first visit to ER. He got something stuck in his little eye, but was such a trooper! He is still the best traveler and enjoyed his babysitters so this mama and daddy could enjoy a couple nights out!

The wedding was beautiful and we wish Haley and Roald the very best as they begin the rest of their lives! We were honored to be a part of their big day and are grateful for such great life long friends.
